🔗 pure bont - Microsoft Teams Integration

​With this integration, bont.ai will deliver real-time organizational notifications—like deal milestones, task reminders, and more, straight into your chosen Microsoft Teams channels.​

1. Navigate to Workflows & Notifications

1. Click Settings ⚙️ in the top-right corner of bont.ai.

2. Select Workflows & Notifications from the sidebar.

3. Locate the Microsoft Teams tile and click “Connect”.​

2. Authorize bont.ai in Microsoft Teams

You'll be redirected to Microsoft's OAuth 2.0 consent screen:​

1. Choose Your Account
   – Select the Microsoft account associated with your Teams workspace.

2. Review Requested Permissions
   bont.ai will request access to:

   • 📢 Send messages as you (chat:write)

   • 📂 Read channel and group chat info (channels:read, groups:read)

   • 💬 Read direct messages (im:read)

   • 🤖 Use commands in Teams (commands)​

3. Click “Accept”
   – Grant bont.ai the necessary permissions to post messages and interact within your Teams environment.

3. Configure Your Notification Channels

Back in bont.ai:

1. Under Workflows & Notifications, click Microsoft Teams → Settings.

2. Create custom Workflows/Notifications and select your preferred settings for Notification Types and Notification Language

3. Save your selections—bont.ai will now push signals there in real time!​

Pro Tips & Troubleshooting 🛠️

• Scope Updates: To modify permissions, revisit the Connect process to reauthorize with updated scopes.

• Bot Display Name: Customize the bont.ai bot's name in Teams via the App Studio or your Teams admin center.

• Rate Limits: Microsoft Teams enforces rate limits on bot messages; consider batching less-urgent alerts or using threads to stay within limits.​
