1. Navigate to Workflows & Notifications

1. Click Settings ⚙️ in the top‑right corner of bont.ai.

2. Select Workflows & Notifications from the sidebar.

3. Locate the Slack tile and hit “Connect”.

2. Install bont.ai in Your Slack Workspace

You’ll be redirected to Slack’s Add to Slack page:

1. Choose a Workspace

   • If you’re in multiple workspaces, pick the one where you want notifications.

2. Review Requested Scopes
   bont.ai asks for the needed scopes to operate.

3. Click “Allow”
   Grant these permissions so bont.ai can send alerts and interact in your channels.

3. Configure Your Notification Channels

Back in bont.ai:

1. Under Workflows & Notifications, click Slack → Settings.

2. Choose which channel(s) receive alerts (e.g., #sales-updates, #deal‑alerts).

3. Save your selections—bont.ai will now push signals there in real time!

Pro Tips & Troubleshooting 🛠️

• Scope Updates: To add or remove scopes, go to your Slack Apps page, select bont.ai, then OAuth & Permissions → Scopes

• Re‑Authorize: If you change channels or scopes, click Connect again in bont.ai to refresh the OAuth token.

• Bot Display Name: In Slack’s App Home, you can rename the bont.ai bot user to match your org’s style.

• Rate Limits: Slack enforces rate limits on posting—try batching less‑urgent alerts or using threads to avoid hitting limits. > Slack Rate Limits
